SpaceKind Leadership Training is the original, foundational training for people who work in and/or love the space industry and want to enhance their leadership skills, while also joining a network of people ready to shake up the status quo and fulfill what they came to Earth to do.

This 8 week training guides you through your own hero's journey, to come out the other end ready to make your unique contribution to the cosmos. It invites you to open your heart, define your dreams, and boldly share your life vision. We use the power of space to shift our perspectives, connect us with each other and our home planet and become the kind of species we would be proud to send to the nearest star.

Created by Future Astronaut, Loretta Hidalgo Whitesides for Virgin Galactic engineers, technicians and staff, this training went virtual in 2020 and continues to expand its orbit and reach with each cohort.

The New Right Stuff, written by Loretta, is the workbook for this program. It takes you on a hero's journey: to find your calling, face your dark side, be the person you have always wanted to be, capture your dream, and return home to share the wisdom you have gained from your journey.

Using Space as a backdrop for the whole adventure, we pace together and take on key activities that challenge you to push your edge, get out of your comfort zone, and create a life you love, for the benefit of all SpaceKind.

Space is a powerful reminder of what we are capable of as a species. Space can be the source of inspiration for each of us fulfilling our part in creating, what visionary Buckminster Fuller called, "a world that works for everyone."
